» Guppy and Beanie meet in P.E. class at Russell Junior High. Somehow they managed to run the "Russell Route" (1 mile) in 7 minutes - never to be done again after junior high

» Neither of them go to their own Junior Prom but end up going to the Senior Ball. Dinner is at the Equinox but they are at different tables with different groups of people

» They both get caught cutting class and have to wash tables in the cafeteria. When one of their friends sees them, they tell her they are doing community service for Interact (a club they are both in) and the friend believes them
» The summer before Senior year, they go to Leadership Camp at UC Santa Cruz. Nights are spent there playing "Go Fish" with friends and practicing their songleading routines outside the dorm rooms. The Leadership Camp attendees learn that a white boy can not do "The Butterfly" not matter how hard he tries. They have the videos to prove it and again, no you can not see them

» Instead of Senior Ball being a great night, the night turns bad when coming back from dinner at Shadowbrook on Highway 17 in the rain, Jason's van hits the center rail and scrapes up the paint. Another friend's car spins out around a turn. And another friend doesn't show up to the place where the prom was held at. We call his house later when they don't show up and find out he and his date were in another car which hit the side of the mountain and his date hit her head and passed out. She was okay but it was not a very fun night.

» They teach a hip hop routine to pledging Pi Alpha Phi members. The dance does not go well since the pledges were drunk when they attempted to perform it. There has been rumor of videos but no one could find them

They also take a Marketing Management class with an evil teacher where they write a marketing plan with a classmate about a specialized photography business. This paper will be forever referred to as the evil paper
